About Chris Pigge
Hi friends, my name is Chris Pigge. I'm one of the founders of Farm to Fork and The Farmers Digest. I'm a senior at the University of Missouri studying agriculture, and I previously worked at White Oak Pastures in Georgia, where I learned about regenerative farming. Since I was 17, I've run my own tree removal business, which helped me build strong customer relationship skills. I'm passionate about sustainable and regenerative agriculture, and my long-term goal is to return to my family's farm in Southeastern Ohio to run a direct-to-consumer cattle, goat, and pastured pig operation. In the meantime, I hope to make this platform my full-time work. I'm deeply committed to delivering accurate, easy-to-digest information that empowers farmers to become more sustainable, independent, and informed.

Our AI Policy
The content in our articles and newsletters are initially sourced using Claude (Anthropic’s consumer AI tool), which helps us access a wide base of agricultural research. Each piece is then carefully reviewed and edited by me, Chris Pigge, for factual accuracy, clarity, grammar, and structure. We also use xAI’s Grok Deep Search to verify that all claims are backed by peer-reviewed, objective sources. This combined approach—AI sourcing, expert editing, and AI verification—allows us to produce accurate, practical, and trustworthy content that meets the standards our readers expect.
Why We Do This
Using tools like Cloud and Grok allows us to increase the speed, clarity, and most importantly, the objectivity of our content. Everyone has biases, and sourcing our initial data and content structure helps us keep information balanced, while my farming experience ensures relevance and accuracy. We know not everyone supports AI in content creation, and that's okay. But every article is sourced, reviewed, and verified—by both me and Grok's deep search feature. We're not a corporation. Just two young guys trying to help farmers get solid, actionable information—fast and affordably.
